any idea why my fuel gauge not registering properly when i put ten pound in ,takes ages to go up .today i put 44 pound in went for a drive about half an hour it still not moved would be gratefull any help :?

is the gauge supposed to give a reading when the ignition off

The gauge should stay at the level it was showing when the ignition was on when turned off.

were would i get a sender unit from main dealer if its that .

Have you had the dash out recently?
Mine stopped working after I took the dash out,haven't got round to pulling the dash out to check it yet but will keep you posted on what I find,dodgy connection most prob.
