wiper wash & intermittent problem

Strange one here wipers are working fine except when i go to the intermittent (which still works fine) the wash comes on constantly

anyone had this before before i go getting me tester out

sounds like the switch is breaking up Luke probably a short inside the case.

I had a similar problem when I first got my van, that would bring the washers on if you had them on full speed, replaced the switch..never had it since

thats handy cos i have a spare switch only thing is its stopped doing it this morning - wish my whining diff would fix its self too

check the earth wire on the switch is ok...
