Towbar Wiring

Postby GBBiker » Sun Jan 03, 2010 11:40 pm

I'm fitting a towbar in the next week or so. Do you guys just wire straight into the rear clusters or do you go further back on the loom?

Just wanting to see what people's thoughts are.....

I've always just gone in behind the lights, with nice soldered joints :)

Cheers for the comments guys.

I'll probably lay the wiring in the next few days and just use an IP rated junction box fitted to one of the chassis rails to plug in the actual 12N for the trailer board rather than hard wire the socket to the van. Will make it easier to remove the towbar assembly if it's via a JB
