Lights left on alarm

Postby johny transit » Sat Jan 23, 2010 2:01 pm

Is this the most stupid thing anyone ever came up with or what? Everytime I open my door to see how the reversing is going at night with lights on, (need to park tight to the curb where I am else risk losing a door mirror!) I get a dreadful continuos whistle from a little thing hidden somewhere in the dash - tell me where it is and the offending article will be ripped out! :)

 You could just wrap it in some vinyl tape to block the holes and reduce the volume a bit :D

thanks for the replies - trouble with pulling the mirror in is getting it back to exactly where I want it - being the passenger mirror (usually, due to the way I park) it is a real pain to adjust. I think I might just muffle the little thingy down a bit as suggested, that seems like a good compromise!

Put a blob of silicone over the buzzer. That'll shut the smegger up
