Does anyone know the diameter of the mainshaft on the MT75? The shaft that goes through the clutch?
I need to make up an alignment tool to change the clutch and would prefer to have it ready before I start the job. Don't fancy spending £20+ on an alignment tool at the moment.

just get a bit of threaded bar and wrap insulation tape around it until its the correct dia!

Don't fancy spending £20+ on an alignment tool at the moment.
I did, and was actually pretty disappointed
, even on the best fitting head there was still a little bit of play when it was fitted in to the spigot bearing, allowing you to move the friction plate around. Had to use a ruler in the end to carefully measure the gap between the tool and the springs at N,E,S and W.A bodge tool would probably work better.
