best diff for motorway cruising

Postby gassed transit » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:06 am

looking to get my 150 lwb td in best possible shape for long distance motorway travel (did 824 miles in a day last year in my 80 swb non turbo and boy thats somthing i dont want to experience again), dont get me wrong i loved the old girl but trying to cruise at 70mph was hard work. allways sounded like it was being thrashed within an inch of its life so would like some advice on which diff to go for. only carry light loads (2 motorbikes / 3 very occasionally). its got the 6 stud heavy duty axle. :?

Hope the VIN plate was in the passenger footwell for a start... could have saved yourself a lot of greif if you think its a ringer :(
