Differential on 150 Custom SWB

Postby Bago » Sat Feb 27, 2010 5:08 pm

Hi,

I hope someone can help. I have a SWB 150 turbo custom MK 5 and the back plate rotted through on the diff and let all the diff oil out whilst I was on the motor way. I stopped, fixed the hole with JB weld and topped it up but it still whines alot, worse when it's loaded up. It's a six stud wheel PCD. Should I change the ring and pinion in the diff? If so, which one do I need to get? My friend is breaking a MWB hightop 190. Would this diff be OK?

My axle is a 51a Heavy Sailsbury (Less LSD)

Thanks for your time.

Cheers
Ian
