fuel filter ---how to remove fuel lines from the housing

hey i am trying to change the fuel lines from the filter housing to the injector pump and from lifter pump to the fuel filter
they are the screw on kind but after i loosen and remove the threaded nut (SLIDE IT DOWN THE PIPE) THE TUBE DOESNT REALY COME OUT it spins around but when i pull it doesnt come out
ford dealer told me they should come out after you loose the nuts

any suggestion
also is the lifter pump an item that either work or doesnt at all . i have problem that when i fill the fuel filter with fuel and bleed the injectors i will start but then it dies and the fuel filter is empty . when i cranked teh engine without the fuel filter there was some fuel coming but i dont know if its from the return line maybe i coudnt really see that ?

does anyone can recomend cheap online source of the fuel lines as the dealer quoted me over 200 euro for the four of them between the lifter pump and fuel injection pump

there is a o ring in there it would of gone hard and stuck in the threads

the site like it if you ask the same question in the first thread you started on it and not to start new ones

keep pulling and twisting and they will come out , if the pipe snaps you can then use long nose pliers to grip the end and pull it out or if you have to cut it off near the end and then use pliers , cut brass insert out of stub and after putting new seal on refit in end of pipe , you may have to warm end of pipe by dipping in boiling water to get the insert to go in

ok sorry i understand about the new thread but i thought fuel lines fuel filter being another topic and was not getting replys on my old one even after reposting


ok i will pull the old fuel lines out and cut the fixtures off
i was thinking to just buy lenght of fuel line and repase the old fixtures -should work right ?
can you guys please tell me wheter you think the fuel pump (not the injector pump) could have occasional problems causing
occasioanl problems with fuel delivery or is it an item that either works or is dead ??
will help me save 80 euro to find out
