I had that problem on and off for awhile, had to drop down a gear and thrash it abit and it would clear up.

Thought it might be sucking air in and causing an air lock, ended up that the lift pump mas shagged and it was dragging air into the system. I've had to have a new lift pump and pipes but it has solved it and its running alot better.

Good luck.

Did you notice the big puff of shitty looking smoke out of the exhaust when it had cleared?

If so then it sounds like you are having the same problem I was.

Depending on your mileage you might want to give it a service, the leak off mod will help remove any air collection but it will keep happening if you dont track it down.

Check your filter and the connectors on the back the filter head, also find the lift pump (back of engine, left hand side) and check the pipe connectors on that aswell.

I bought some recon injectors from united diesel, http://www.uniteddiesel.co.uk as mine looked really old but it was the lift pump that was the culprit of my problems.

Before I got it sorted it was slow and really flat spotty but now it drives like a completely different van, plenty of power and excelleration.
