I have a '95 smiley, and recently bought a Hallmark smiley off one of our members. Sadly the Hallmark is way beyond repair, and I'm quite surprised I didn`t get into a terrible accident on the way back given how bad the chassis was, but I digress...The plan is to twink out my trusty old warhorse with the elec pack from the hallmark, including elec windows, mirrors and central locking. Now my '95 is pretty standard with no bells n whistles, so I`m expecting a little loom fun to come. But my questions are as follows;
1) The hallmark has full CL and all locks on one key, whereas my van has 1 key for each lock. So in the process of swapping the CL over, I'll end up with one key for my van too (hopefully). Both vans have PATS 1, but only the hallmark has the red master key. How do I program the hallmarks keys onto my pats given that I`ll want to change the ignition barrel too? Can you just change the PATS 'receiver'?
2) If the extra loom plugs aren`t behind the kick panels, has anyone dared trying to change enough of the loom to make the door electrics work? Essentially the hallmark is now a donor, so any parts I need can be ripped off it at will.
