Spare Wheel Absail - What Size Are My Nuts

Postby Malc16V » Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:10 pm

Been under my van replacing exhaust, wire brushed the underside and undersealed (they missed a lot on the factory  ).

Lowered the spare wheel - figured it out, bloody good job I did, never have got that spare off at the side of the road. Plastic wing nut that holds the 'bracket' to the wheel was stuck fast and now its bust, had to muller it to get it off. Wheel was even rusted to the bracket. All cleaned off and greased, but what size nut do I need to replace the 'plastic wing nut' that is no more ?

It's the same size as the wheel nuts, whatever that is (M14?)
Mine doesnt have the nut on it now, as it's not really necessary anyway, once the wheel is locked in place :D
