Are Mk3 and Mk4 steering racks interchangable??? Been offered a rack for my Mk4 which is a recon. New and old are both non-pas.

I think the track rod ends are different but other than that the same

Will I need Mk3 or Mk4 track rods ends, was going to put new ones on as the rack is as new.

Manual Transit racks changed in Oct 1991
Although they look identical, the lock to lock is different.
The Power racks are the same until 2000
