Oil leak 2.5 banana

Changed the sump and that improved it alot.

But just had another look and where the bottom power steering bolt goes into the block it seems to be wet around there.


Does this bolt go right into the block (e.g can i leak out of that bolt or is it leaking and dripping on it,)(

I think it does go in to an oilway - there is certainly a bolt in one of the holes on non power steering models

What i just done was remove the bolt all together and ran the engine up.
It didnt leak any more or any less then it did with the bolt it ???

Could this still be the problem??

And what shall i do to seal the hole better.

That looks like mine when the front crankshaft oil seal had gone, weeps on to the pulley and spreads about. Pretty easy to sort, remove pulley and the seal is in a carrier. Not that expensive if I remember.

BTW the picture is not of my truck its just one i found on here to show the bolt.

When i did the cam belt it was clear under the cam cover so i'm sure its not the pulley seal
