If you think the matrix may be blocked this is fixed easy and cheaply.Put in your favourite flush/descaler and do what it says. When done take out the rad, fill with water and physically shake it about and empty. This helps to shift stubborn stuff and is fairly easy (on most motors). You cant do this to the matrix but if you undo the two heater pipes (ideally not the heater end but the other end) a garden hose will fit nice inside. When you start to flush it comes out brown at first then runs clear.Do this to the other pipe so the flow is reversed and keep alternating direction until you are happy or soaking wet and cold. When I do this to my motor the heater can do toast
