Auto adjuster changed to manual adjuster

Transit 95, Diesel 2.5T (100PS)190L twin rear wheel born 12/12/95. :D
Hi, after reading a few threads on here I decided to take the plunge and do away with the ratchet and pawl
and go manual clutch pedal. WHAT a difference, her indoors can press the pedal now and I can move the point
of contact up or down at will. The most difficult bit was the blooming grommet, sounds against the laws, but
it went in from the engine side... eventually :!: If someone is having bother with the self adjusting clutch, if a
fat old codger like be can go manual..so can you. Just a footnote, the ratchet and pawl plus the stretched
cable was my only problem so new (different) cable and manual pedal fixed mine, someone
else may have further problems, but this is a place to start. PS remove the spacer that is on the pedal
assembly spindle, it`ll be the last thing on the spindle when you withdraw the old pedal. :!:
Thanks again to all who share their knowledge on here
