help fitting seats in lwb 190

hi all, great site

i have just got a plylined 1999 lwb 190 transit and want to fit 2 extra seat in the rear

has anyone done this or know of a step by step guide ?

need help cheers


btw picking up the twin seat tomorrow, also what size bolts will i need ?

i know i'll have to take up the plylined front part of the floor, just want to know are there holes for the bolts etc

Hiya !!
There may be a thread on here somewhere :? but if you cant fine one i would find some 5 mm steel plate ( 8 pieces ) with a hole in the middle for the bolt to go through. Mark and drill your holes taking care not to get anywhere near brake pipes etc. I used 17 mm nuts and bolts on mine and use nice big washers on each side. Use the steel on each side ( i.e. inside the rear and underneath ) and you will need a friend to hold a spanner underneath while you inside tightening. Hope this helps!!!

cheers nice help, i did a search but didn't look hard enough i guess.
yeah found 2 holes ready for bolts so just need to make 2 more,
thanks for the heads up on the metal plates and the bolt sizes.
