Heater Fan Motor.

Postby Backbone of Britain » Sat Apr 03, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi Guys,
The fan motor on my 99 longcube is squealing its head off and actually stops turning when set to position 1.
So question is, is the fan motor the same from a 96 as a 99 :?: If so I can swap the one in the longcube for the one out of the swb. Best to ask before I remove everything only to find Ford have changed everything again.
Thanks Duncan.

:D All done. Started at 2:15, stripped the fan motor out of the swb then the longcube and swapped the fan motors over; put everything back togetger and was finished by 3:30.
Was made up how easy it was, hardest part was getting the motor past the air duct.
Sorted no more squealing fan :D :D .
