Water coming out from beneath heater box

Postby CraigK » Sat Apr 17, 2010 7:50 pm

Hi Guys

I've taken my rubber mat out to see why it is getting wet. Rain and a hose test has revealed water coming out from beneath the heater box. I've poored water into the inlet beneath the black trim and this results in water coming out as described. I've pushed metal rod through the drain vents and they seem to be clear.

As an easy (and temporary) fix I propose to put some duct tape over the inlet beneath the black plastic trim in the engine bay.

Any thoughts? Thanks chaps.
