Mk3 2.0L Pinto Power Steering Pump

Postby stimpz » Tue Apr 20, 2010 5:47 pm

Hey Guys,

I have had a leaking steering pump for quite some time now. Just put the van for an MOT and amongst other things it fail for 'tight steering'.

Could this be cause by a failing pump???

Apart from that it is leaking oil all over the alternator which can't be a good thing.

So either way I need to replace it.

However I need some advice on how to get hold of one? Is this a common part for all tranisits of this mark, desiel and petrol or do need to get one specifically for the engine I have???

As usual thanks for any help.
