Leaky MK3

Was out in the rain yesterday and found a few leaks

I had the door cards out to fit the central locking and the water was just pouring in through the window. How easy is it to change

Then i opend the glove box and it was full of water. where can it get in

the water in your glovebox could be from a leak round the windscreen.
the doors will let a little water round the windows hence the drain holes in the bottom and the plasic sheet behind the door cards, but if its excessive the rubbers are easy to change, just wind the window down and pull it off starting at the top.

Could be the windsreen i had a new one fitted about 3 months ago

Dead the same problem as I have on my '89 MK3 wondered why there was an angler on the passenger seat Poorly fitted windscreen is likely to be the culprit Last windscreen I had fitted [to the '95 MK5] I made the fitter a cup of tea and plied him with biscuits . . to give me time to clean flakey paint and rust from above the window aperture, it worked, he even sealed the leak I had at the top of the offside wing

A reseal is likely to be the only sensible longterm answer . . or bodge some caulk under the sealing weather strip . . . after cleaning and drying it out.
