:D AT LONG LAST I AM GETTING A POWERFLOW SYSTEM FITTED TO THE VAN , ALSO IT IS BEING FITTED FROM THE CAT TO THE BACK , AFTER READING THE POSTS AND CHATTING TO THE FITTER ITS DEFINATLY THE BEST OPTION TO KEEP THE CAT ON THERE :D

ALSO BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A POLICE VAN DOING RANDOM EMISIONS TESTS AROUND HERTFORDSHIRE , THEY HAVE BEEN NEAR WHERE I LIVE , PULLING CARS AND VANS COMING OFF THE M1 AND SHOVING A READER STICK UP THE EXAUST , APARENTLY , DONT QUOTE ME ON THIS BUT IF YOU FAIL AN ON THE SPOT EMISIONS TEST ITS 3 POINTS ON YER LICENCE AND UP TO A £1,000 FINE

Nice tailpipes :D
different enough to notice but subtle enough not to be the first thing you notice when looking at the van :)
I like that :D

Just to suppliment already what has been said already if your cat jsut has the one sensor before the cat then it will run fine without it infact you should see a slight increase in power due to lack of back pressure, cats generaly cost around £500 from the dealers but after market manufactures are starting to make them now and the prices of these are coming down. I have a 2.0ltr mondeo with a performance manifold, exhaust and no cat and it passed at my local garage figure that lol.
I do know though that the cat is only responsible for reducing the emmisions by quite a small amount and as your van is a 95 model then the emmisions applicable for that year arnt that strict so it may well pass without the cat in place.
With regards to price £450 for a full stainless system is about average but you have to bear in mind that A it will probably add to the value slightly and B you will never have to replace it every couple of years as it wont rust

When i get my new van 2.0td its the exhaust and cat are coming right off it and im going to install a custom side exit jobbie, the think with turbos is that the act like a silencer and therefor virtualy do away with the need for a silencer  im hoping just a pipe will do have to see how loud it is may need a small silencer, and there should be a nice turbo whistle
I will post some pictures when im done.
