what injectors do I need and where can I get them??

Morning all,

I've got a lwb semi hightop minibus, not had it for long and recently the power has dropped massively

I'm not a mechanic but I am having to learn quite alot lol, luckily my brother is a mechanic (he doesnt get much time to help me out though as he's always working!)

I noticed one of the injectors had a loose cap and diesel was leaking out of it. Got my brother round and he said that there must have been a problem with this injector as at some point and someone had put ptfe tape at the bottom of the injector. Also the reason the cap has come loose is because presumably the last owner knackered the thread when screwing it back on.

The van is knocking on a bit now (w reg but still an awesome van) and I wondered whether it would be better to replace all the injectors rather than just the knackered one?

If I do replace them what should I go for and where is the best place to get them?

He hasn't given all the part numbers - and you havent given all the details. That could be any one of 4 injectors

What power engine do you have fitted?

Ok you need 33706 injectors - from a 97 onwards bananna engine. That advert doesn't say what they are

My next question is how easy is it to get hold of a set of them?

If I said it was the fuel return one that was knackered, would that make some sense?

I can get a pic of it if that would be easier?

Hiya, well it's only the one thats knackered but depending on how much a set of 4 cost, I might replace the lot. At least then I'll know they'll all be working correctly and if needs be keep my old ones as spares in case I need them

In the meantime if you could get those injectors how much would you be looking for them?

Do you know if theres a way of cleaning the injectors yourself or is it a specialist job?
