hazard lights come on

yes-pretty random really,but definitely come on when i put the key in the
ignition.
1999 swb 80 diesel ,banana exhaust,previous history of electrical
faults,at the time it seemed that it started with a steam wash,now---
i'm not so sure,i think its really a malevolent force has got in there
and its just going to be a bas----!!!
before you start ,all offers of holy water,crucifixs,and tricks done by
men in dog collars,will be treated with the distain they deserve,(well probably,its not dark yet)
there was once a man called nighthawk,now i know that you all know him,---but,i believe in him and possibly he might have the time to work
out the answer.
all help appreciated,and again ,and i really mean this folks,god botherers,
methodist missionarys, clarevoyants etc are advised to stay well clear.

Check the hazard switch on the top of the steering colum, sometimes they become stuck and although they look off they're not.

have u got a alarm fitted or had one fitted recently????if so check that as it may be the relay inside it...

but wouldnt the hazards be on regardless of the keys in the ignition?

No because the switch is kinda half on half off! Have seen this before.

went out in the dark,and firmly pressed the hazard switch a few times---
and, it seems to have worked!

now about my other looming mechanical problem,
i am about to remove two 105e's (petrols),from a freeman 26.
i want to replace them with peugeot 1.9 diesels,to connect
them to the existing parsons gearboxes,looks like its going to be interesting,-----now about that prayer meeting emm,you can never
find a vicar when you want one.

nah -mate its just a sad combination of a tranny playing up every few weeks,a s3 landrover that needs restoration and a freeman 26 that needs
two new engines,combined with a lack of sleep!
