haha my w362 dhf has a turbo now and full air con, red and got a 6th gear and reaches speeds of 110 MPH on a full load (2-3 tons) on a flat and 90 up hill!!!!

my m880fns got stolen and burnt out last month but recovered it though awaiting a new petrol engine (hoping for a rolls royce scaled down edition haha i know its mad!)

you can only do it on a mk5 because of its ground gear lever but the prob with mk6 and mk7 is that the gearstick is on the dashboard and that is the problem.

This is how i do it but im going to keep some things secret.

you must have a normal mk5 standard gearbox as you can see above on my van info the bog standard, a fitted in turbocharger and 2.5 diesel.

ok i cant really tell you £££££

6th gear dont make it a higher speed as well as its same ratio as 5 th gear...did you change the axle as well?
mk6 gearstick is on the floor as well so could be done.....is the 6 speed gearbox same bell housing as mt75 box then as thought it was diffrent

i got the axle changed to something else (not telling) and the 6th gear can take me to 100mph on steep hills with my new engine xD (not telling)

and why do you say that 5.14 are screamers?

5.14 axles are low ratio so the engine will be screaming at 60mph let alone 70

Whether or not there is some slight exaggeration on this post. The question should really be why are are you doing over a ton up with a full load on.
I have been at those sorts of speeds and the only comparable weight wise is a range rover sport. This was still a tad dicey and even with uprated shocks and carbon fibre discs.
If you are getting that sort of muscle (that I think the sportvanners on the forum would be envious off) from your van, have you uprated the brakes and suspension? If not, when you inevitably shuffle of this mortle coil make sure you do it alone in a ditch and not by running in to a family car or a guy on his motorbike.
