Angel eye headlights for Mk4/5's

Dudes, check out what i found on ebay. I was looking for replacement headlights, mine are a bit grubby now, and i found these in the listings.
Someone may well have already posted this somewhere, i don't know, but they look good to me. the same company sell clear indicator lenses and side repeaters too.
I should state at this point that i have nothing to do with this company.
Has anyone got these ?
I can see them on my van already. I think they'll look so good that it'll make me put a finish coat over all me primed patches....ha.

righto Doris. I think if i get these it wil have to be with the clear indicators and side repeaters too. Seems to me like the best hassle free way of getting a kind of quad headlight look with the added bonus of looking cool with the angel eyes. Trouble is my van looks a bit of a mess with primer patches all over it. I want to paint it silver but i put my signwriting on it and the bt grey shows. Plus as a builder i'm very busy this time of year and get left such little time and energy to spend on me van.
When i get them i'll put them straight on and post a picture in this thread. My van just isn't looking like the sort of van you would take photos of right now. Tho i love it i just haven't had time for it. So thats my excuse.

Well i've bought them and it turns out they were the only ones they had left. They did a run of 200 2 years ago. They didn't do more cos they assumed a big company would make them. These were returned by a guy who had an accident before he could fit them.
He did say that if i put the word out on this forum and 10 or more people wanted them he would be prepared to do a run. What he's saying is it's not worth his while to make up less than 10 pairs. They are glass.
If you phone him he'll chat on with you. Sounds like a decent guy.
He also said that he's getting in some led rear lights. I didn't quite understand what he meant but he said you drill holes in your existing lights put these led ones in and paint the old light the same colour as your van. Best to talk, or email, to him on that one as i didn't fully grasp what he was saying.

I phoned the ebay seller before i bought them and told him that i was a member of a Transit forum and he said "Well if theres enough people that want them we can get some more". He said it would have to be more than ten pairs of headlights though to make it worth his while. Otherwise its not economically viable.

What you want to do is get as many of you together, who want these headlights, as you can. If theres a lot of you then you could haggle a good price with him. I only got these for £50 because they were in the way and the last ones.

Would the site let you puy up a "shout".

They are on there way to me. As soon as i get them i'll put them on my van and post some pics. They may look cool. Or they may not be what you want. It'll give you a chance to make your mind up for sure.

I shall put the pics in this thread so keep an eye out. Hopefully get it done over the weekend.

Cheap enough to make your own, they are just the cheap angel eye kit that you can get on eBay stuck in a Mk4 headlight.

oooooooooo reading you loud and clear there. They are just the cheap ones.

Well they will look a whole lot better than the scuffed and yellowing pair i have on at the moment. I thought i might as well go for these as my passenger side headlight is broken at the back and lets water in.
Also that which is "simple enough" to some people isn't neccassarily so to others. I'm sure i could do it if i had the time to. However as i explained in the opening post of the thread i am very busy this time of year. I'm sure there are people like me too who are looking out for a simple and not to expensive, nor too time consuming way of making their van look a little more pleasing to look at.
