Not the coils, they work or don't work, it is a lost spark system one coil firing on two cylinders at the same time.

Yes I'm actually Scottish, born at Bangour Hospital, West Lothian. To be honest I tell everyone I'm English, because most foreigners don't know the UK is four seperate countries. Let's hope Wee Jimmy Shankie does'nt get her way :D

Do not throw the old coils away as there is nothing wrong with them, It was probably only the HT cables that were at fault. Mine is a SWB and get 101mph before the ecu cuts the engine out, Changed over to a cable speedo now and it the ecu is by passed but the old shed is getting old and so am I so given up hammering it. Is the EGR still functioning on your Van? mine is blocked off and believe you get an another 5hp which is ok from engine that is Un tunable as it's already at it's peak performance, It is a RS2000 derivative motor.
