The 205 block is a thicker walled block so safer to overbore past 2.1, 2WD cossies used em, but they were "selected" blocks chosen by cosworth who then added the steel crank lowcomp pistons ect.

The injection block uses slightly stronger con rods other wise it's the same as a carbed 205 block, came out with the wedge tranny and sierra i beleive, not seen one in a capri, even ona D reg but seen em in Y reg sierras

i was told the 205s were slightly over 2L, as opposed to slightly under. The 205s go well!
