Nah, i beg to differ there..... old fords are made of extra long life heavy duty DI engines and the rest is Cheese......... pretty sure the sills are made of mature french Brie, with Camembert crossmembers.....

b4 mines went for mot i got fibreglass filled the hole in under n/s sill rubbed it down painted it mot guy said it was sollid done the same with underneith at the back last year shoots over the fibreglass and its still solid sailed throo mot lol

i know how you feel, i took my beast to the old m.o.t place and failed on welding again. the fella who welds my van for me says it might not be worth welding next year :( :( :( , so i'm going to take it off the road in sping and completly strip her and try to rebuild her and then hopfuly the cost will not be so painfull and more worthy and a nicer van :) :) .
