hi, you could be right as it seem to be something like weird electic fault ....... like maybe behind fusebox ,

before the red light came on ,the week before the orange light came on and off and then back on for temp .. but the van was showing no sign of overheating . at the time i thought this was strange as it had behaved it self for last 4 yrs .. :?

i checkout the back of the fusebox later ...

CHEERS FOR NOW . :?

Hi all , well after a morning of messin around under the bonnet !!!!

ive got the van started again "Ha Ha HA " :) , after sanding all the connections and grease ...

FOUND IT...

SO the problem seems to be lack of no power to the small wire which connects to the solinod .. :(

if i have the the key turned on and stick a jump lead on the connection , i starts first time .

i thought i could fool this by sticking a extra wire from the battery to the connection , but "no good "...

so can you run a live wire from the ignition though the bulkhead down to the solinoid connection .

or is there relay for this which maybe blown a fuse ? look at the fuses seem to be ok ..

the wire must have a break or a short somewhere...

There must be quick solution for this , dont really want keep jump out with a jump lead ..

Any ideas ?

when the van running all the dash lights go out >>> YES!!!

CHEERS TRANSIT 666..
