O right, I thought you ment you had sorted it!

Okay on that year I wouldn't have thought that there would be a cold start device, there are certainly no glow plugs or glow plug light!

The 2.5 Di doesn't have glow plugs and the light in the middle of the head lining is for the PATS.

Mate you need a hand book :!:

I wasn't going to jump into this thread but the time has come :!:

Firstly Your red "Brake Warning" light, Comes on momentarily to tell you that, that bulb has not blown and should it come on under normal conditions you have a problem with one or both of your brake systems hydraulics. :(

Next, you don't have a "handbrake on" warning light either  but there's nothing stopping you from fitting one if you like a bit of DIY :D

Your van does not come with glow plugs :( Personally I've never seen one of these vans with glow plugs

The red light that you've just discovered in your ceiling between the sun visors is your "read out light" from your PATS (passive anti theft system) communicating between your ignition barrell, your "chipped" key and the on board "computer" :D

Please feel free to ask as many questions as possible    we were all there once
