leeds is where i am- yeah im gonna mention it -think it was on here i read tht the fins rot out and cuse braking probs feels a lot like air in the lines though

When I said that, I had assumed that they had actually fixed it
If the brakes aren't working, take it back and read them the riot act Faulty brakes just aren't acceptable!
Get them to check that the front discs are in good condition and the vent fins aren't rusty

Don't worry about spending money on it. Just heard from a friend that someone in our region recently was the victim of an idustrial accident. A farm labourer was killed when they got caught in a PTO because the plastic 50 pound cover was missing. Is some money spent on safety for the brakes worth 150,000 fine and a subsequent suicide. I think not. Spend the money with somene who can do the job properly and be safe (You and the public). Money can be earn't back, memories can't.
