right one last try :roll: the big black circular switch that attaches to the pedal undo this from the pedal unit blow it out with an airline clean as much as you can watch out for the sticky seal dont lose or break! this ,ight cure your problems if not down teh scrappy's you go :( :( unless you have £149 at fords :shock:
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

thats what i took of that black circular thing , i put everything back together and it wont rev , ive messed around with the connections just cant get it to work , do you get the complete pedal from fords

yep :D but for what it is it's alot of ££££ :idea: try lucas they might be able to do something or get the individual switches :D

worth a try as a switch might only be £30 :? :? or they might tell you what the fault is :? :?

is there anything you need to reset or is there any fuses , there is a live coming from the plug and iyf you turn the engine off put the accerlater right down then start it , it will rev to the max then go back to idle and cant rev it again :?

:? :? dunno mate i have never had a problem whenever i get one from a scrappy i just unplug mine plug 2nd hand one in test to see if it works then plug mine back in and have no probs something sounds not right with yours :? :?

it must of been on it way out and with dis-connecting it must of packed in for good, it looked to be sumot to do with that cicuarle thing

:? :? i would defo try to get just the switch part :) if not find a scrappy for the pedal because if it's not the pedal then it's a lot of ££ wasted at fords :( is north west transitsstill open in manchester they had ton's of mk5 td's in when i last went :D :D

ye looks same as mine but different colour wires bugger cant find tehre details will keep looking :D
