[quote="FredTransit"]ceejay have you tried Webber direct? do a search for them on the web, or if you have a local tame parts palce, ask if they will order it for you. It will help if they already deal with or have an account with webber.[/ :) cheers Luke I will get to it straight away]

a haynes manual up to 89 should still be suitable for your 91 van. it definately looks like a VV carb you have. they are crap and should be binned immediately. they were refered to as "the carb that made mr webber rich" as well as a different inlet manifold for a twin choke webber you need to adjust the timing to suit, its totally different for this carburettor

I managed to get one from Gowers and Lee of watford and the warranty company have footed the bill mind its been a struggle to get them to pay for it. They refused at first saying it was down to fair wear and tear so I pointed out that the vehicle might be some 14 years old but it had only done 40.000 from new. So they paid out on the 26 of july and the warranty was out on the 27th so thanks for all the help Guys! Respect Ceejay

That'll be more like it for power and economy. flip, 40,000 miles from a carb is pretty poor...like I said the VVs are crap!
