Make sure you pack a tow rope and stick a nice big UK sticker on the back in case you need a tow. :wink:
Don't need a UK sticker if you have a GB number plate ;)

Preparation

Exhaust is in good shape

Spare wheel bearing (& drift bar) + split pins
Spare bottom ball joint
Spare tie rod end
Spare locks and ignition barrel
Length of hose to syphon fuel
Tyre repair kit (rubber bung thing)
Several tubes of tyrefix spray stuff
Fuses
Bulbs
Windscreen wiper
Spare ignition switch

Tools
Haynes manual
Trolley jack & wood
Decent socket set
Torque wrench (make sure you got downsizing pieces to fit sockets)
Torx set
Ring Spanners - 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 18, 32
2x adjustble spanner (large and small)
Pliers
Long nose pliers
Magnet on a stick
Rubber mallet
Rounded hammer
Vice grips
Piece of hollow tube for leverage bar
WD40
High melting point grease
Touchup paint
Cable ties
Jubilee clips
Exhaust u-clamps
Elastic straps
Rachett straps
2x Phillips screwdrivers (large + small)
2x flathead (as above)
Multi screwdriver
Stubby multi screwdriver
3 legged puller
Stanley knife
Pump
Jump leads
Tow rope (it is illegal to tow in Spain)
Good length of strong thin cable (useful for fixing handbrake + throttle cables)

Other odds and ends
Superglue
Clear silicone
Self tapping screws + nuts and bolts or common sizes


Stuff required by law
Bulb Set
GB Sticker if not on plate (a spare is useful)
Headlight deflectors (tape is illegal in Spain)
Reflective jacket for all people in vehicle
Warning triangle (2x if in spain)
You do NOT need a breath test kit, but take one anyway to appease cops
Not going to have room for people at this rate. :)

Maybe a trailer with spare engine, gearbox, drive train etc? :lol:
