BTW thats the ecu so yours is the injection???

I would say that's the ECU, isn't it? I am, however no expert on these chip thingies......

I think if it were mine i'd move it to the side and put the battery there looks like they'd both fit there with enough room!! - it would be alot easier than fitting it under the seat!!

Cheers for editing it!! I didn't know it was an injection!! it doesn't say anything on the Log book and i'm pretty crap with engines! I'd prob have a bit of hassle trying to relocate that then, I imaging that there are a few wires that would need extending!!
I'll go with either 1 monster battery of add another one under the seat.

you may be right about that I think there might be enough room for the box on the side of the wheel arch, that stupid alarm thing can go because it doesn't work anyway.

yeah you shouldnt have to extend any wires just tip it on its side a few brackets and self tapper screws - should be sorted!!!

WHAT STUPID ARM THING!?? PUT CHAIN SAW AWAY AND POST A PHOTO BEFORE YOU CUT SOMETHING OFF! Having just admitted you don't know much about mechnics, maybe it's best if you ask some advice before lopping off bits of your van. Would hate to think you have taken the gas axe to the steering arm or other bits you might not think you want, but do....................

lol!!! Don't worry alarm not arm!! I am not good with engines but am an electronics engineer so i'll get my snips out and hack it out.......not quite as destructive as a gas axe but equally as harmful if in the wrong hands!! the alarm was fitted before I bought the van but I go no fob with it and the fuses are all missing. I'm going to add my own alarm to it after upgrading the locks, spraying the dash, carpeting it out, adding more audio equipment.......aaaaarrrrrrggggghhh the list is endless!! lol

If you are fitting twin batteries, I would offer this advice-make sure they are both the same output/amp hours ie, 2x600 ca or similar. otherwise if you fit one big and one small the one will eat the other. found this out on my old ambulance, it ruined two batteries in less than a year. you should also ideally renew them both at the same time. expensive business...
