i would be putting a bosch pump on this engine whilst its out don't need to worry bout silly sensors feel free to try my van out if your passing through

cheers mate is yours fully working now did you manage the intercooler?? and what bosch pump have you got on as i have been told there are a few different ones apparently minbuses have the one i need apart from a new pedal and pump what else is involved with this conversion

if you go cable all u need is a ignition feed wire to the stop solinoid.. temp gauge ..electric fan if fitted and the wires to the starter.most if not all you already have on your loom....not sure if your fuel pipes will match but can be easily made up..

thanks jay sorry for asking the obvious but why do i need the temp guage and electric fan the only problem i can see is the loom to the epic pump do i just bin it with the ecu or do i still need it??? as i think the immobiliser comes off of there what i might do is fit the engine as is if it works ok then start fiddling about with things

I assume u have the ford immobiser still in the van then..when u do change the pump over you can proberbly leave the ecu in place wont do any harm.....no temp gauge and you cant then see if you r cooking the engine!! think you only have electric fan if petrol or aircon fitted..unless you fit a electric fan in place of the viscois one.

Bosch mechanical pump numbers that are cable operated #0 460 414-146 0-460-414-145 I am 99% sure these are the right numbers for a mechanical pump..my pump hasnt got any tags on as they were taken off when i got it modified for more power the second load of numbers are i think the turbo 100 ps one..the first is for 76ps

yes mate they are the pumps,the first one has no anti theft and the second has but easily bypassed,make sure you up mid range fuelling and get rid of the egr butterfly completly.the 146 pump with VER 686 stamped underthe pump numbers is a cracker,will leave the epic system for dead
