Just been outside having a look at the pump on the van, there does seem to be quite a bit of side to side movement on the leaver were you rev it on top of the pump. Im assuming there should be none.

My mistake with the pump, shouldnt have removed the pulley, should have undone the 4 10m bolts. Well finally sorted, :D :D :D after putting 4 pumps on and all of them leaking somewhere or an over. :( I picked up the 5th pump, it didnt leak but it was very slow... Really didnt want to remove this pump again, after reading a bit on here about the torque sleeve i stripped it down, and yes it needed cleaning, so off i went for some wire wool and 'Autosol' polish... Refitted and what a difference, its like driving a new van. :D Ran it around for a week to make shaw all ok, have now refitted cam cover and any over clips or fittings as i am happy i wont be removing the front any time soon. :D
So thanks for all your help guys. :D
