 , I'm sure my Mrs would do the same given half the chance ha.
Attempting to weld a couple small patches on rear chassis by the bumper mounts, cut patches, primed inside faces , magneted on , wriggle under , all set up, start spotting it on and feckin welder starts playing up, it's feeding itself when off the trigger . Not fun when your not expecting up , sparks everywhere and blobs all over the shot.
Nothing obvious looks outta place on machine. Felt the liner gas cable and its pretty hot to the touch .
I'm running no gas + no gas wire , polarity not changed, never gave problems before.
Anyone any ideas ?
I'll need to join the mig weld forum and see if I can sort it.
I'm using an old cebora 130 turbo if that helps.

Reckon she'd give it away given half a chance  .......

If she finds out what I've actually spent.....I'll be given away next  ......

Sounds like a plan??

Derv - has your cebora still got the original torch or has it been converted to eurotorch? The switch in the original torches can get sticky ;)

It still has the original torch on it. It does the job but does feel a bit...non industrial. I'll open up the torch and see if anythings up/ operates smoothly.
It has a fairly new metal wire liner.
The money ive put into it servicing it plus the original cost I could of had a much better machine by now.

May bite the bullet and get a mightymig 170 ,as it has variable power feeds , comes with a euro torch so cheap tips/shrouds, gas+no gas and it allows me to weld heavier duty metal.
May tart up the cebora and flog it to half pay for it.
I need my van back on the road asap and a dicky machine certainly isn't helping matters.

Rebuilt sliding door lock back to original lock code (but with new discs) and refitted.

Rebuilt back door (turned out the 4 disc was badly worn ...) lock and refitted.

Built new driver's lock door with Ford discs inside a cheapo lock. I don't have a Tibbe one on the drivers' door you see, so had to do that. Turns out cheapo locks are not quite to same tolerance as proper locks :x Think I eventually have something that seems to lock and unlock now ... after much faffing around with extra washers in places.

Tomorrow will be fitting driver's side lock, and doing some tarting up. If the weather is good :)

Bummer :( Do you live in it and therefore you're stuck until it's sorted?

Have cooked in mine but not 'lived' in it for longer than a week, and that was at a festival...
