another smoking transit

back to the problem at hand,
i got some good green injectors, fitted them with the '113' pump,
it idle's ok, (slight knocking from pump)
rev's ok when stationary,
but it's still down on power and very slightly trails white smoke, (normaly only notice it just before changing gear)
but when going up hill makes clouds
smoke doesn't smell like diesel, more like burning plastic
any more ideas guys? (please)

right, lets finish this saga
i took the van to a diesel specialist, http://www.firstdieselinjection.co.uk/index.html
and they found the '113' pump to have low internal pressure, so they resealed and checked on their test bench the '145' pump, i fitted it and timed it again,
it did reduce the amount of smoke, but i wasn't happy with just a improvement, i wanted it cured,
so back to the specialist,
new diesel filter,
new filter housing,
new banjo fittings,
and new clear fuel lines between filter and pump,( so i can see any air bubbles )

and now it only smokes, just a little, if i 'floor it up a hill'
