Immobiliser Bypass on a 2000 MK5

Hi guys,
I am new here i own a mk5 smiley.

Cut the story short, brought the van with a well worn ignition barrel so i went to change the barrel with the new barrals key but now it wont start on any of the barrels or keys!!

Anyways the van aint the best so i would like to bypass the immobiliser could somebody pm me on how to do it ta.

have you tried taping your old key to the side of the ignition barrel to take of the imobiliser

No but did put the old barrel and key back in and still not having any of it :(

try puttin bk as it was, if barrel swapped, you still need ti swap the chips over in the keys... good luck getting old ones out took me 2 days ended up smashing the glass vial then tweezing it out. the later keys whole red thing is the carrier :P

Thats the trouble i dont want to tackle the chip's ect as its a faf!
I thought bypassing the immobiliser would be easy to figure out.
I have her cranking over but no fueling atm :( just need some help atm.

defo need the original chip right by the lock, hold it there a few secs then slowly click round each position til she turns over...

you may be surprised that we are a bit reluctant on telling guys how to basically steal our beloveds!!


i can tell you how but morally need bit more proof like some pix of key in ign with lights showin on dash...
i sound like a right pretentious c*** i know but you must understand the apprehension!!!

photobucket.com are great free hosting site i use for pix on here...

stick up some pix that would go to proving it aint robbed and you get your answers!!!

What I can tell you, is the PATS immobiliser module is on the top of the stop solenoid.....
