Bled all the brakes after inspecting the master cylinder. ts garbage and will be fitting a new one soon. will likely bleed all the brakes again. Oh joy.
Fitted one of my two options for rev counters, a £8 ebay job I fiddled with till it worked how I want. Was gonna calibrate it with my arduino optical tach on the camshaft pulley but I broke the IR sensor. :(

I have to attack my flaky underside (!) soon, not looking forward to it...
I like your headlights, is that an extension on the bonnet?

ahh good luck with your underside, just do it a bit at a time, takes longer but worth doing, yeah head light lips are bits of steel welded to the bonnet edge

Finally got around to fitting a second battery (at the end of the winter)

Replaced top strut mounts (both looked in good condition up top).

Cam belt & tensioner done. Checked all bolts tight under the rocker cover, checked valve clearances, managed to get them down by 0.02mm in the search for more power. Inside of the rocker cover was pristine... got to love good oil changes. :-)
Next stop find a way to get the renault (diamond of doom) megane intercooler in place.

Had to dig around and find another P/S belt as the one that was on there decided to snap, the belt I dug out is slightly too big as the adjustment is on the max and it's only just tight enough, so I suppose I'll have to buy a new one

Picked up a severely rotten lwb high top at the weekend and chopped the roof off to fit to our camper, as well as robbing the turbo and manifolds. Roof swap and turbo conversion coming up! Image
