Today I measured the acceleration of my car from 0 to 100 km / h using a DVR with the ZHPS function. It took 26 seconds.
Sorry for the long video - I was unable to cut it. Watch the first minute.

Seven years ago, I was repairing the underside of my car. You need to look at the pictures from the bottom up.

Nice 1 C_C

Removed the middle section of propshaft as the universal joint was showing some play when griping and twisting the prop either side of it.

Got it off eventually by welding a nut on1 of the bearing carrier bolts to get it out.

Vroom vroom.

Prop section re fitted.
Had to grind another ring spanner as I couldn't find my usual one for nipping the uj bolts up.
Vroom vroom

Hmmmmmmm

Prop vibrating worse now with a new uj.

No warranty on the repair due to not taking the full prop in.

Need to ring them on Monday

Update on the prop.

Loosened the offending " new" joint.
Took the horseshoe out and inserted it from the opposite side.
Tightened up and..............

Seems to be OK now

Prop is poorly again.
Taking the thing in its entirety to the prop place to get it sorted.
I'm £200 in plus fuel and time down now,so what's a few more quid.

Diff flange bolts are now totally mangled and need replacing,so if anyone has a link to replacements or the dimensions and hardness it would be appreciated.

Bloody ford

Found some Atlas M bolts at the farm I do a bit of work on.
Thread and length are spot on.
Not sure of the hardness though

ooh sorry to hear that coalman, I dunno how you would find out the hardness, so I guess fit them and keep an eye on them :?:

Original bolts turned to cheese with the impact gun,so I'll assume 8.8

I thought the prop bolts were torx bolts anyway?

Put the prop back on.
Prop place vaguely marked the sliding spline up as the thing was too long to fit in the car.
