On Friday, after work, I went to the dacha and noticed that the low beam in the right headlight was not on. Replacing the lamp was not successful. The fuse is good.
Open circuit from the fuse box to the headlight.

I identified the area of the break - from the point where the wiring harness exits the engine panel to the headlight.
The wire was cut and a repair wire was inserted.
The low beam of the right headlight appeared.

Flushed the rad and refilled with oat coolant the other day.

Today discovered that there must be a bit of air trapped in the system.

Bloody heater is blowing cold air
Not much fun driving with it like that at the moment

Actually today is just the day that 10 years ago I bought my first Transit and it was a mk2 one, so I would be off topic.
But then I thought I had so many mk3 bits involved that maybe this resume will be accepted. I hope.
It was a 1600 petrol campervan, replaced with a NAT engine, and sierra intake duct with weber DGAV carb + radiator.
Application of heat exchanger via pipe that crosses the large fresh water tank. Done in spring 2014.
Box and air filter from Volvo V60 in the compartment on the left and large duct up to the carburettor, summer 2014.
3 years later in the summer I would have dismantled everything to overhaul the engine with new shaft bearings, cylinder grinding and cylinder head overhaul as well.
Brake booster and master cylinder overhaul, new brake discs and front brake calipers seals and new rear brake shoes in winter 2017.
Replacing 1:5.14 differential with another 1:4.56 donor mk3
Application of a fiat panda diesel radiator in place of the now perforated and rusty sierra, summer 2018.
Expansion tank application with new float indicator, autumn 2018.
Front bodywork repainting, summer 2019.
Changing rear hub bearings and oil seals, 2022.

next interventions: application of electric fan (viscostatic defective) from fiat panda diesel and change of differential pinion oil seal.

All done by myself, except adjustments on engine and cylinder head.

Obviously with the great support of know-how and advice that I have been able to gather in this great forum.

Thank you all

Today I changed the engine oil and oil filter for the winter.
A week ago I replaced the coolant - before that I used poor quality and there was a lot of rust in the system.
To clean the system of rust, you will have to replace the coolant several times.

Passed MOT today :D Needed an absolute ton of welding around the rear spring hangars so reinforced everything with 3mm plate, MOT tester was shocked to see a transit 190 on his ramp, said he hadnt seen one in his garage for years. Next year its new calipers and drums, it passed on em but barely.

Not as much as mine was recently to see a Rover SD1  None of the above required, welding done earlier, but it still failed, handbrake!!

Hi mate, did you ever fit those JMC headlights to your transit? I have seen a listing on ebay for them and I'm curious if they would fit on my Mark 4

With the onset of frost, problems arose with starting the engine - the starter overrunning clutch began to slip, we call it Bendex.
On Sunday I went to the car market, bought bendex, felt bad on Monday, and on Tuesday I drove the car to work and replaced the bendex. Now it’s warm, about 0 degrees Celsius, at this temperature the old one worked fine. And at - 15 it started to slip But the engine started without a spark plug.
