No reason why you couldn't easily make this (pre-smiley/non EGR cr*p) into a lovely little 100PS+ motor, with a new set of injectors and a little pump tweaking

oh yes... but not a little tweak is what you want..you want a big tweak..And easy fitment as it already has a cable pump fitted so no electrics just the stop valve oil pressure switch for light and temp switch for gauge....

what injectors would i need to get a bit more poke out off it?
are the di turbos basicly the same across the different hps apart from injector pumps,injectorsand aditional intercoolers?
what do you think a fair price is? i think its a bit steep £350

try getting turbo and both manifold's and the pump from a scrapy for less than £300..and the engine as the pistons are diffrent on a proper turbo lump..

Got the engine off ebay for £250 the chap said when i picked it up today that is came out of a j reg transit ambulance would this still be the early 80/85 engine ??
