Plan B......
Take manifold off yourself.
Straight edge will show if it is warped.
If it is either take up the "slack" with a new gasket and paste.
OR
Hand finish using a sheet of glass/flat surface and wet and dry.
Down time kept minimal depending on how quickly you work.
