Newbie potential owner

Postby beves » Fri Aug 31, 2018 1:55 pm

Hi just joined,

I've got an opportunity to purchase aa 1990 MK3 2.0 l petrol RWD high roof LWB private ambulance with guaranteed mileage of 3800 miles from new. There's no visible wear on it and apart from lots of moss growing on it, it looks sound. blacked out windows too.

Not ran since 2014 so electric are dead and I've not had chance to test it turning over.

Just wondering if it would make a good camper project, ie whats MPG like, easy convert to LPG?, reliability of old carb pinto?

I can prob get it for £500, so would it be a good buy?

Cheers

Brian

Providing the metal underneath is still there and the wiring/inside haven't provided food and shelter for several generations of rodents

It would make a decent camper project.
