Exhaust flexi section.

Postby Lambulance » Fri Sep 07, 2018 4:22 pm

Hi all,i need to replace the exhaust 'flexi' section, any pointers on what to buy?,i would rather repair than have to strip and replace with a whole new part,is there a clamp on part i could get,and just cut the damaged part out?
Thanks in advance....Kev

ebay is your friend.
Measure pipe dia and length and order accordingly.

the difference between a length of flexi pipe and a length of exhaust ready made up is only about a £ 5.00 is it worth it get a length ready made up

i bought the whole section from exhaust manifold to where it meets the second pipe,it wasnt dear about £30 i believe from a+ m exhausts at wakefield,i then cut the flexi out of the broken section and grafted the new one in with my mig,the reason i did this was because i was frightened the manifold bolts might shear even though i have oxy/cetaline
of course if you just buy the flexi section this can work out cheaper but i found little difference in price for some reason
