anybody know if there is different thickness of brake pads for transit smiley - as even when pistons are pushed back in can not fit 2 new pads together , dia - 12mm material . ? .

Did you push them back in, with the top off the reservoir :?:

You may need to grind off the rusty top on the outside of the disc, unless they're new ones :?:

Pads for 6 stud vans have more material on them - but otherwise the same
