On that plate there is a spark plug gap.... must be from a petrol :idea:

i remember seeing one on an 88 curtainsider & im sure it had a Lucas cav fuel pump remember it was quick 8)

The building company I work for did work on the building in market raisin after they left it there was loads of standard parts off vehicles they must have removed when doing the conversion most of it BMC parts only ford parts 2.0 OHC no diesel parts

I think they did a turbo conversion for the early Di engined Metrocab which had the turbo up high like the one you have so maybe it's one of those?

The zorst pipe would be straight through the alternator if it was a pinto or maybe it was driven off the driveshaft :roll:
