Lucas laser 2000 code reader in Sydney?

Hello brains trust, I have an engine warning light and can't get out of limp mode. I'm having trouble finding anyone in Sydney to read the codes on my 97 VG Transit with the Lucas epic pump. Does anyone know of a mechanic around Sydney that has one? Failing that, does anyone know of a mechanic anywhere in Australia that has one? Many thanks #veryfrustrated

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago and after considering the options decided
to get a Bosch manual pump sent out from England. I have a camper van and didn't want
to get stuck out the back of Burke with it going into limp mode again. More power and
haven't had any problems since.

Haven't Ford dealers out there got compatible test equipment ?

You don't neccesarily need the laser tool. Forscan can also work, see: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=189151

How did you go with finding someone with Lucas laser 2000 scanner in Sydney???

Might be worthwhile checking the connections on the plug to the pump and make sure there's no corrosion
and the pins are clean.
